Dr Rebecca Marshall-McKenna
PhD, BSc, MCSP, Pilates Instructor Corpus Studios & REPS Level 3
Rebecca qualified with a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University. Rebecca is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC). Rebecca obtained her REPS level 3 instructor and a qualified Foundation and Level 1 Classical Pilates Matwork and Cadillac Instructor, trained by Classical Pilates UK. Her professional development has led to her certification in standing/functional movement, shoulder rehabilitation and rehabilitation for runners by the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute. Rebecca has abeen awarded the status of Rehabilitation Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist by the Pink Ribbon Programme, and certified in CanRehab Physiotherapy Cancer and Exercise Rehabilitation in July 2022.
Rebecca was awarded a PhD from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2011. Rebecca has been published in several peer reviewed journals as a Researcher / Honorary Research Fellow in the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing at the University of Glasgow. Her areas of interest include exercise rehabilitation, soft tissue techniques (myofascial release, massage, trigger points, acupuncture), CFS/ME, breast cancer, Osteoporosis,multiple sclerosis and healthy ageing.
